Name: Fujian Jasmine Pearl <\/a><\/p>\n Type:\u00a0 Oolong<\/p>\n Region:\u00a0 Taiwan<\/p>\n Bought At:\u00a0 Adagio.com<\/a><\/p>\n Price:\u00a0 $29 for maestro sampler set (4 teas)<\/p>\n First Impressions:\u00a0 “Pearl” shaped leaves, floral smell<\/p>\n Review:<\/p>\n Another first for me, I’ve never had a Jasmine tea before.\u00a0 The first thing that was surprising to me was just how strong the jasmine scent is, both from the leaves and the tea when made.\u00a0 It smelled like I had just picked a bunch of fresh flowers!\u00a0 The tea has a unique, light, flowery flavor.\u00a0 It was very light, similar to last weeks Formosa Pochong, but definitely has a sweeter aftertaste.\u00a0 While I can’t say I’ve ever eater a flower, I definitely think this is what it would taste like.\u00a0 The smell was actually a little overpowering to me, but I would imagine this would be great for a Jasmine tea lover.<\/p>\n My Rating:
